A little about me:
I am a current university student at The University of Western Ontario, studying for a bachelor’s degree in biology. I have always had a love for the sciences and helping to guide students along in their science endeavors is one of my passions.
How the lessons will work:
I help students to understand the biology topics they learn in class as well as come up with lots of ways to remember important information. With information from past course experience as well as many credible sources I put together lessons, gather helpful diagrams and practice questions for the optimal learning experience. My sessions are usually based on these lessons, I will ask lots of comprehension questions as I take you through the content in a way that will work best for you! Together we can discuss ways to memorize information, understand concepts and ace tests/exams.
Subjects:
My current specialties are high school biology courses. Stay tuned and feel free to contact me for any course requests (chemistry and physics are underway).
I base my lessons off of the Ontario curriculum, but it is much the same across the country. I can adapt if needed, so feel free to sign up even if you are from a different province or territory!

- - Western Scholarship Award of Distinction - 2021
Experience:
I have experience teaching many high school students in these past years. Many of which have reported back to me an increase of their grades and an overall boost of confidence in their learning.
My first hand experience with the courses I teach help to keep the content relevant and comprehensive.
